things I don’t actually care about when it comes to john green: enthusiasm, dorkiness
things I do care about when it comes to john green: his inability to assess himself in any wrong doing or problematic behavior when people talk about him doing offensive things or that make them uncomfortable. his gigantic victim complex thinking he, a rich 30 something, is somehow being bullied on a social media site by teenagers and people in their twenties talking about issues where they feel unsafe with him and his fandoms. his stereotypical writing style that makes women only exist as a plot development for the male main character that reads like something I wrote in high school. his very clear desire to be seen as the “cool” nerd character as if this was still high school.
